Jobably started as a private tool for one very deliberate executive job search. It found the roles at 3 a.m., held every posting to a written bar, and never invented a line on a resume. We productized exactly that.
The job search has a rhythm problem. Postings appear around the clock, but people search in bursts — an hour before work, a weekend afternoon. The best roles get hundreds of applicants in the first day. By the time you see them, you're in the pile.
The prototype that became Jobably fixed the rhythm first: scan every six hours, judge every new posting against a written rubric, surface only what clears the bar. Then it fixed the trust problem: tailoring that provably never fabricates — every figure traced verbatim to the owner's real history — because one invented metric in one interview costs more than the tool ever saved.
What we shipped is that same machine with the sharp edges filed down: the questionnaire that becomes your rubric, the scan engine with its dedup discipline, the provenance guard, the prep packets that draft but never send. The principles are load-bearing; the product is just their interface.
